|
Biography
Albert Pors graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2006 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. He commenced work in the electricity supply industry in 2007 as a graduate electrical engineer with what is now Endeavour Energy. Since then, Albert has gained experience across a range of areas including network planning, power quality, reliability and network modelling and simulation (including steady state, dynamic and transient based studies). In 2014 he gained a Masters of Engineering (Electrical Power Engineering) through the University of Wollongong. In his current role as Power Quality and Reliability Planning Manager at Endeavour Energy, Albert is responsible for the development of strategies and programs to manage and improve network reliability and power quality performance. This includes managing the integration of increasing amounts of distributed energy resources (DER) on Endeavour’s network by implementing voltage compliance and control improvement initiatives. He also has oversight of the development of network planning models, covering sub-transmission to low voltage, to enable various simulation studies to be performed.
